Crvena Zvezda lost on the road in a game for the 6th round of the Adriatic league to Union Olimpija (77-73) and also lost its captain Luka Mitrovic after his left knee injury.
Mitrovic had to leave the court on a stretcher and every one is waiting the official announcement about his condition. Things however are not looking good as coach Dejan Radonjic said in the press conference: “It is very difficult to analyze the match after Luka’s injury. (ed.note: Crvena Zvezda center who spoke earlier) Maik Zirbes was quite optimistic to say that Lika will miss a few weeks, but I think it is not even close to that”. The Serbs are facing Real in Madrid this week for Euroleague.
