Despite Stephen Curry’s injury, the Golden State Warriors had a tremendous percentage from beyond the arc, easily won the Houston Rockets 121-94 and now are only one win away from eliminating their opponents.
In the first half, the Rockets managed to be competitive (56-56) and Curry’s injury made things more difficult for Golden State.
However, the defending champions outscored their opponents 41-20 in the third quarter and easily escaped from Houston with a big victory.
Klay Thompson (23 points, on 7 of 11 from the three-point line) and Draymond Green ( 18 points, on 4 of 6 from beyond the arc) were the squad’s best players, while Andre Iguodala made a decent performance as well (18 points, on 9 of 11 shooting).
James Harden scored 18 points and dished 10 assists, with Dwight Howard adding 19 points and 15 rebounds for the losing squad.
The Warriors also set a new NBA Playoffs single-game record for hitting the most threes (21/40).
