The Philadelphia 76ers president basketball operations, Bryan Colangelo along with head coach Brett Brown are in Istanbul in order to meet with Sixers draftee Dario Saric, who’s expected to join the team next season.
Both of them are watching Game 3 of the Turkish BSL finals, in which Fenerbahce is hosting Saric’s Anadolu Efes with the score after the first two games at Efes‘ home court being tied at 1-1.
Their presence in “Ulker Arena” further supports what is already commonly known: That Saric will leave Anadolu Efes this summer in order to sign with the Sixers. His contract includes an NBA buy out for this summer and his decision according to many reports and sources seems to be definite. And after all this is what the Sixers expect.
When asked by Eurohoops on the matter Colangelo added: “We have come for Saric and my friend (ed.note: Fenerbahce‘s GM) Maurizio Gherardini. Time will tell if we will get Saric this summer.”
