As Gigantes reports Justin Hamilton season in Spain has not gone unnoticed in the States and the American with the Croatian passport is about to return to the NBA by signing a multiyear contract.
This has been confirmed by the Croatian basketball federation which announced that because of the new contract the player will not be able to play in Turin, Italy, in the pre-Olympic qualifying tournament. The players is already replaced in the team by Darko Planinic of Baskonia.
There were rumors about Hamilton being linked both with Real Madrid and Barcelona, however it’s obvious that the player would prefer an NBA return. After all, Hamilton after the start of his professional career in Europe with Cibona in Croatia and then to VEF Riga back in 2012, he played in the States from 2012 until 2015 both in the NBA and the NBADL.
He has been a member among other of the Miami Heat, the New Orleans Pelicans and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
