Evan Fournier will continue playing for the Orlando Magic after agreeing to a five-year, $85 million contract extension deal with the team, as ESPN reported.
After the previous season, in which international French swingman averaged 15.4 points per game last season, including a 40% in his three-point attempts, the club was definitely looking to re-sign him. Magic GM GM Rob Hennigan had specifically said that keeping Fournier was a top level priority for his team.
By “locking” 23-year old Fournier, the Orlando Magic completed a serious investment for the club’s future.
