Darussafaka Dogus officially announced the transfer of American forward Will Clyburn. The 26-year old player signed a 1+1 deal with the Turkish club.
Clyburn has spent the entirety of his professional career so far playing in Europe. He comes from an outstanding season with Hapoel Holon in the Israeli Winner League, during which he averaged 20.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to play in Darussafaka”, Clyburn said in his statements for the official website of Darussafaka. “Basketball is very important in Turkey and one of the team’s many objectives is succeeding in Euroleague. At the same time, we have coach David Blatt who has great basketball knowledge and will help us achieve our goals.”
