Without Juan Carlos Navarro but with Pau Ribas returning to action Barcelona got an easy win for Liga Endesa and Baskonia without Andrea Bargnani – who was rested – managed to beat Joventut on the road.
Plaing at home, Barcelona prevailed with ease over Real Betis (80-56) having a balanced offense led by young guns Aleksandar Vezenkov (14 p.) and Marcus Eriksson (17 p.) as the Catalans have now a 3-1 record and Real Betis is behind them at 2-3.
Baskonia entered the last quarter leading by three (67-64) and in the end got the 90-83 win with Adam Hanga (16 p.) being the top scorer and German center Johannes Voigtmann having a great game with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The team of coach Sito Alonso has now a 4-1 record, while Juventut remains at 0-5.
Also Valencia (3-1) got the 92-75 road win over Obradoiro (1-4) with Bojan Dubljevic scoring 19 points.
