Gran Canaria had no problem expanding their perfect Eurocup record to 4 – 0 overpowering MZT Skopje 98 – 75 on the road.
Actually their intention were made clear right from the start since they scored 24 points in the first and 27 in the second to go to the locker rooms sitting on a 22-point pillow, 51 – 33.
Skopje couldn’t keep up with their opponents’ firepower while coach Casimiro’s players simply kept scoring almost…. unopposed dropping 29 points in the fourth quarter!
Five players from the winning side contributed double-digit numbers in points with Kyle Kuric scoring 19, Royce O’Neale and Eulis Baez 15 apiece Sasu Salin 14 and Pablo Aguilar 11.
Josh Scott (22 points, 12 rebounds) was the main source danger from the hosts along with Xavier Thames (15 points)
