Certainly not a pretty game between Buducnost and Bayern Munich in Podgorica, but the Bavarians couldn’t care less since with their 68 – 44 win, they grabbed their third positive result of the season in Eurocup.
Not only did Buducnost remain winless, but recorded an all-time scoring low in Eurocup with its poor offensive performance. Not surprising since the team’s main weapons like Marcus Williams (0 points after 0/6 shots) Shawn James (2 points) were far from their usual standards. Only Boris Savovic delivered, with 12 points plus 6 rebounds.
On the other side, coach Djordjevic’s players didn’t need to be impressive to win, with Devin Booker scoring 10 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.
