Julian Wright who has in the past been a member of Panathinaikos and currently plays for Trabzonspor in the Turkish BSL may end up in Barcelona. The Spanish powerhouse is showing interest on him, however nothing is finalized yet.
The 29 years old big man (2.03 m.) was the no13 pick of the 2007 NBA draft. He has played for the New Orleans Hornets and the Toronto Raptors and also in Israel, Russia, Greece and last season in Italy with Trento. Last season he was part of the All Eurocup team and he comes from one of the best NCAA programs, as a former Kansas Jayhawk.
So far he is averaging 13.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 14 league games and Barcelona can complete the transfer until the 24th round of the regular season. It has also to be noted that Trabzonspor is owing money to the player and this may prove the key for a possible move to Spain.
