VTB League fans had the chance to vote for their favorite players on social media from December 6 to January 9. Based on those results, 64 players have been revealed as candidates for the first ever VTB United League All-Star Game.
During the second stage of the procedure, Russian and foreign media will participate in the voting. They have been asked to create two teams: “Russian Stars” and “World Stars” –each of which will be consisted of 12 players. An important condition is that neither team can have more than two players from one club.
On February 1, coaches selected by the League will name their starting rosters. A dunk and shooting contest are also to be held at the All-Star Game.
