Olimpia Milano faced Vanoli Cremona on the road and grabbed the win with 72-76.
The visiting team was on to a good start, with just enough pressure in the backcourt. After 10 minutes, the score was 17-24. In the second period, Rakim Sanders burried a three to give his team a 6-point advantage, 21-27, then Cremona surpassed for the first time in the game, 36-35. At halftime, Milano was up 38-39.
In the second period, Cremona expanded to 57-51 at 23′. Soon, the visitors were able to regain composure and covered the deficit, while also surpassed. However, the hosts weren’t willing to surrender just yet! With less than one minute remaing, Cremona’s Holloway tied the score to 70 points. Hickman and Dragic carried Milano through the end for the victory.
Milovan Macvan scored 14 points for Olimpia, Sanders had 12 and McLean added 11.
