2020 NBA Batı Konferansı yarı final serisinde 3-1’lik üstünlüğüne rağmen tek maç daha alamadan Denver Nuggets‚a yedi maçta elenen LA Clippers, sezon öncesi şampiyonluğun en büyük favorilerinden biri olarak gösteriliyordu.
