Rodrigue Beaubois scored 28 points and Will Clyburn had 21 points as Anadolu Efes defeated Pinar Karsiyaka 101 – 85 in the Turkish BSL League, two days after a poor EuroLeague night vs. Real Madrid in EuroLeague.
Erkan Yilmaz contributed 11 points plus eight assists for Efes that dominated the first half 52 – 35 and proceeded to go up 78 – 56 late in the third period. All that Karsiyaka was able to do was trim that deficit a bit down the stretch.
Errick McCollum scored 26 points and dished out five assists for Karsiyaka while Vitto Brown posted 23 points and five rebounds.
Efes will now get ready for the first double-game EuroLeague week of the season and the games against ASVEL Villeurbanne (17/10) and Valencia (20/10) at home. Karsiyaka is beginning in the 2023-24 Basketball Champions League by hosting Oostende (17/10).
